I´m still very confused on what I´m suposed to have gear and costume vise
I´m playing a cherokee warrior so what am I to wear and do I have to have a big gun?

I would say that it depends on your characters beleif and contact level with the whities. If you are a strong cultural character, you might opt for the very native and nature look, but if you want to blend in well with the White intruders, you might go for whatever the same as them, but perhaps with some distinctive details, to identify yourself to others as being native (I do not suppose you look native irl:-)).

I would look at, what your position in the tribe is also.

But like Sommer said, much of it depends on how much contact you have had with the white ones.
